Our History

ADVANCED SECURITY and FIRE PROTECTION is a locally owned and operated business. The owner Greg Sherwood, who spent 27 years in the Beavercreek Fire Department serving the local community before retiring in 2003. He worked in the fire protection business for Simplex Grinnell for 6 years before starting his own business in June of 2011. We decided that we could provide a more personal approach to this service, along with competitive pricing and personal attention to our customers.

Thus ADVANCED was born. We currently employ 7 field employees with over 85 years of combined experience along with 1 office manager.  Our future is bright for the clients we serve as we continue to grow.

Because of our background and our first hand experiences, we understand the value of fire protection.
